Refund & Cancellation Policy

About This Policy

At Distro Digit, we are committed to providing professional software development, website development, and digital technology services. This Refund & Cancellation Policy explains the terms and conditions applicable to cancellations and refund requests for services purchased through distrodigit.com.

By placing an order or making a payment, you acknowledge and agree to the terms outlined in this policy, subject to applicable laws and any separate written agreement.

Services Covered

This policy applies to services offered by Distro Digit, including website development, web application development, mobile application development, custom software development, IT consulting, technical support, maintenance, and other digital services offered through our website.

Cancellation Before Work Begins

Customers may request cancellation by contacting Distro Digit in writing before work on their project or service has commenced.

If the cancellation request is approved before work begins, the customer may be eligible for a full refund of the amount paid, less any non-refundable third-party charges or expenses disclosed and agreed upon before payment.

Cancellation After Work Has Started

If work has already commenced, cancellation requests will be assessed based on the work completed, project milestones achieved, resources allocated, and any non-recoverable expenses incurred.

The customer may be responsible for payment for work completed up to the effective cancellation date. Any refundable balance will be calculated after deducting applicable charges for completed work and agreed expenses.

Refund Policy

Refund requests are reviewed on a case-by-case basis, taking into consideration the nature of the service, the stage of completion, the agreed project scope, and the applicable terms of the customer's order.

A refund may be considered where a customer has made a duplicate payment, has been charged incorrectly, has paid for a service that Distro Digit is unable to provide, or has paid an amount exceeding the amount properly due.

Refunds may also be considered where a material service failure remains unresolved after written notice and a reasonable opportunity for Distro Digit to address the issue.

Non-Refundable Services and Charges

Unless otherwise required by applicable law or agreed in writing, refunds will generally not be provided for:

  • Services that have been fully completed and delivered.
  • Development work or project milestones already completed.
  • Deliverables approved or accepted by the customer.
  • Customized software, digital products, or solutions developed specifically for the customer.
  • Work already performed before a cancellation request.
  • Delays resulting from the customer's failure to provide required information, content, approvals, or access.
  • Changes in customer requirements or business circumstances after work has commenced.
  • Non-refundable third-party charges, software licenses, hosting fees, and domain registration costs.
  • Subscription periods that have already commenced, except where required by applicable law.

Project Milestones and Advance Payments

For projects involving advance payments, installments, or milestone-based billing, payments are applied toward the agreed project scope, development stages, or deliverables.

If a project is cancelled, Distro Digit will assess the value of work completed and any applicable charges under the agreed terms. Any amount paid in excess of the amount properly due will be refunded where applicable.

Advance payments are not automatically refundable once work has commenced. The terms stated in the applicable proposal, invoice, or signed agreement will also apply.

Subscription and Recurring Services

Customers may request cancellation of recurring services before the next billing cycle. Unless otherwise agreed, cancellation will take effect at the end of the current paid billing period.

Fees for a billing period that has already commenced are generally non-refundable, except where required by applicable law or expressly agreed by Distro Digit.

Cancelling a subscription does not automatically cancel separate projects, outstanding invoices, or other contractual obligations.
